"It's a Mac-assed Mac App. Focused, customizable, flexible, well designed and super fast. 10+ times a day I need to convert a file for use on a website. Picmal makes that process a joy . My favorite conversion is taking a multipage PDF and converting each page to an individual image with one click (something even Preview can't do). "

How do I make a PDF from images on my Mac?

Drop your images into Picmal, choose PDF as the output, and click Convert. Picmal turns your photos into one multi-page PDF, one image per page. It all runs on your Mac.

Can I combine multiple photos into one PDF?

Yes. Drag in as many images as you like and Picmal stitches them into a single PDF, each photo becoming its own page. You end up with one file instead of a pile of loose images.

Can I set the page size to A4 or US Letter?

Yes. Pick Fit to Image to match each page to the photo, or set a fixed A4, US Letter or a custom size in millimetres. You can also tune JPEG quality to keep the file small.

Can I password-protect the PDF?

Yes. Turn on password protection and Picmal encrypts the finished PDF so it can't be opened without the password. Handy when the pages hold anything private.

Can I reorder the images before making the PDF?

Yes. Drag the pages into the order you want before you convert, so the PDF comes out in the right sequence. No need to rename files first.

Does it work with HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Yes. Drop in HEIC shots straight from your iPhone, along with JPG, PNG and more. Picmal auto-uprights them using their EXIF data, so nothing comes out sideways.

Can I do a whole batch, and where do my images go?

Drag in a whole folder and Picmal builds the PDF in one pass. Everything happens locally on your Mac, no uploads, no per-file limits, nothing leaves your machine. It's a one-time $15.99, not a subscription.
