How does the license work?
You pay once and keep it. No renewals, no subscriptions. Your license activates on the number of Macs you bought it for, and you can move it to another Mac whenever you want. Prices are in USD, tax is added at checkout, and you pay through Stripe.
I bought Picmal and now I need more Macs. Can I upgrade?
Yes, and you only pay the difference. Going from 1 Mac to 2 is $10, 2 to 5 is $50, 5 to 10 is $60, and every other jump works the same way. Enter your license key here and the same key covers more Macs. The offer never expires, so starting small is never the wrong call.
What happens if I get a new Mac?
Open Picmal on your old Mac, go to Picmal → Register license to deactivate, then activate on the new one. Takes about ten seconds.

How do I merge PDF files on my Mac?
Drop your PDFs into Picmal, drag them into the order you want, and click Combine. Picmal stitches them into a single PDF and saves it as a new file.
Can I reorder the pages before merging?
Yes. Once your PDFs are in Picmal, drag them up or down to set the exact order they'll appear in the combined file. What you see is the order you get.
Does combining PDFs lose any quality?
No. Merging is lossless. Picmal copies each page across untouched, so text stays sharp and selectable and images are bit-for-bit identical to the originals.
Can I merge PDFs from Finder without opening the app?
Yes. Select your PDFs in Finder, right-click, and use Picmal's Quick Action to combine them. There's also a Shortcuts action so you can merge PDFs from any automation.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
As many as you like. Drag in a handful or a whole folder of PDFs and Picmal combines them all into one file in a single pass, with no per-file limits.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Picmal combines the files on your Mac, and the merged PDF is written there too. Nothing is uploaded.
Is Picmal better than merging PDFs in Preview?
Preview works for a couple of files, but you merge them by dragging thumbnails around its sidebar. Picmal lets you drag many PDFs in at once, reorder them clearly, and combine them in one click, plus batch straight from Finder or Shortcuts.
