What it does
- Batch converts images, video, audio and PDFs across more than 100 formats, including HEIC, WebP, AVIF, RAW, MP4, MOV, MP3 and FLAC.
- Compresses with an adjustable quality slider, so the size and fidelity tradeoff is the user's call, not a fixed preset.
- PDF tools: combine, split by page range, build a PDF from a folder of images, reorder and delete pages.
- Video tools: combine clips, crop, cap resolution, change playback speed, add a watermark, burn in SRT or VTT subtitles.
- One-off jobs: remove a background, trace a raster logo to real SVG paths, generate macOS .icns, Windows .ico and iOS icon sets.
- Fits the system: Finder Quick Actions, Shortcuts, Raycast, watched folders, and a picmal-cli binary for scripting.
- Runs entirely offline. No uploads, no account, no server. The app has nowhere to send a file even if it wanted to.
