Your client's files never leave the studio
Picmal converts and compresses images, video, audio and PDFs on every Mac in your studio. Nothing is uploaded, so unreleased work never passes through someone else's server.
$89 once for 5 Macs, updates included. No account, no subscription, works offline. Compare both team licences
Two licences built for a team
Same app at every tier. The only difference is how many Macs it activates on.
Every licence climbs to a bigger one later for the difference, on the same key, and the offer never expires. Buying for one Mac? Picmal is $29 on the pricing page.
Questions a studio asks
We have more than 10 Macs. What then?
Email me at support@picmal.app with how many Macs you need and I'll send a quote and an invoice.
Can we get a proper invoice with our VAT number?
Yes. Add your company name and VAT number at checkout and the invoice arrives with them on it. Nothing to request afterwards.
Someone leaves. Can we move their seat?
Yes. Open Picmal on the old Mac, go to Picmal → Register license to deactivate, then activate on the new one. The licence key stays the same and seats move as often as you need.
Do we need one licence per person or per Mac?
Per Mac. A designer with a studio iMac and a laptop uses two seats. Buy for the machines Picmal runs on, not for headcount.
Does it fit into how we already work?
It runs from Finder as a Quick Action, from Shortcuts, from Raycast, from a watched folder, and from the command line. A watched folder is the usual one for studios: drop the client's files in, take the converted ones out. See the docs.
Can we try it before buying for the whole studio?
Download it and run it on one Mac first. It is the complete app, not a trial. If it does not suit the studio there is a 14-day refund, no questions. Download Picmal.
