License

  1. In the menu bar, open PicmalRegister license
  2. Enter your license key
  3. Click Activate

Your license is tied to your Mac and stored securely in the keychain. It works offline after the initial activation.

If you’re moving to a new Mac, deactivate your license first:

  1. In the menu bar, open PicmalRegister license
  2. Click Deactivate

This frees up the license so you can activate it on another machine.

You can also deactivate a device remotely from the license portal — handy if you no longer have access to the old Mac:

  1. Go to the license portal
  2. Enter your purchase email — you’ll get a sign-in link
  3. Open the link, find the device, and click Deactivate

Visit picmal.app to purchase a license. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

If you can’t find your license key or the original email:

  1. Go to the license portal
  2. Enter the email address you used when purchasing
  3. You’ll receive a sign-in link along with your license keys

The same portal is where you sign in with the emailed link to see your keys and the Macs they’re active on. Picmal has nothing to renew.
